Although very tasty, I've had several people tell me they are glad they weren't watching the kitchen! This is one of those things that usually should stay the cook's secret.
Day after Thanksgiving casserole
Left-over:
shredded turkey
corn
green beans
carrots, peas, or other vegetables
mashed potatoes
gravy
Pre-heat oven to 375 (190). Mix everything together in a large pot and take a look. If mixture seems a bit dry, add a tin of cream soup. If your leftovers don't seem enough to feed the crowd, stretch with sauteed onions and mushrooms or tinned vegetables. Season to taste. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Pour into a large casserole dish. If you are lucky enough to have refrigerator biscuits, (or croissants) place them over top about 1 inch apart and bake according to package directions. If not, cover with home made biscuits and bake until golden brown. Enjoy!
